GROOMING

I have decided to groom my dog.
(for the first time)
Introducing, my
Golden Retriever, Jessie.
She is almost 3 years old now.

(Jessie - before grooming)

First, I need to de-mat her
with a slicker brush.

(Slicker Brush)

Don't let the brush's appearance
fool you, it is actually quite soft.
It's purpose is to remove the mats, release the
dirt particles and loose hairs on a dog.

The hairs flew all over the house. Man, didn't I
had a hard time sweeping them.

These are some of the loose hairs I
remove from her.

(Loose hairs)

(More loose hairs)

Then, it is time to style her.
I know I ain't a dog stylist or a
dog groomer, but I tried.
Plus, I think I did a not-so-bad job.
Here is prove.

(Before and after)

If it is difficult to see what are the
changes, here let me show you.

(Trimmed)

Then off to the bathroom for a
refreshing warm bath.
I'm sorry I don't have any pictures of her
bathing. Plus, it's rude and not nice
to snap someone's photo when they are bathing.

Later, she is dried and done.

(Jessie - after grooming)

Look how happy she is. =)

I heard this song over the radio the other day.

You can say it's love at first hearing.

This is not the official video, but it doesn't matter.
Here, listen..

NUMSKULL

What the hell?!??!
I went to renew my IC earlier today.
When I'm done and head back to my car,
guess what I found.
This !!

(Scratch)

What? Where?

(Marked scratch)

It's on the driver side's door.
Some people can be so d*mn brainless.

Can't they use their spoonful,
no wait, I mean just a teaspoonful of
their degenerated poor brain to estimate how wide
should they open their door??

Plus I remember parking my car at least
2.8 feet from that retard's car.

I need to repaint the whole door
just because of the
4X4 cm scratch by that
FOOLISH BLOCKHEAD FREAKING DIMWIT.

Shoot !!

NICE

Nice..
I had a crab porridge for dinner the night
before. Emm emm..am I speechless
when I first taste it.

(Crab Porridge)

Boy, don't I love crabs !!

FIRST AID (DAY 2)

Second day is here.
Like the day before, it started with
a long dull lecture on lifting and handling.

Boredom the Super Villain strikes again
and claimed many victims,
at least 1/3 of the class.

Every minute feels like eternity.
After 3 hours of lecture,
lunch time finally arrived (thank god),
it felt so gooood...

Chee Yuan suggested that we
go to Air Itam for lunch (laksa).
I was like absolutely !

Zet drove us there.
He said he didn't know that
there was a laksa stall there even that he has been
living on the island for all his life.
"What??"

(Zet - driving)

When we reach, we were so lucky that
we found a parking spot.
Usually the place will be fully packed
during lunch hours.

(Penang famous Air Itam laksa)

Later, back to the HQ and
our practical session started.
This time, it's bandaging.

First off, the Arm Sling.

(Zet and Mr. Gan)

Then we have the hands cover, elbow cover,
elevation sling etc.

Next, the scalp bandaging.
Everyone had a hard time with it
because it kept coming off.

(Chee Yuan trying)

(Zet trying)

"I can barely close my eyes" - Chee Yuan.

(Me trying - overly excited about it)

After the bandaging test,
it was time for our theory exam.
It was a not-so-bad paper.

When we were done, we can leave.
It took us around 15 minutes to
finish the test.
We can only know our result in 2 weeks.

For now, we are done with the course.

End of day 2.

FIRST AID (DAY 1)

I was back in Penang the other day.
for the 2 days first aid course.
It was at the St. John HQ.

On my way there, I pass by my college,
Disted-Stamford College,
and I manage to take a picture of it.

(Disted-Stamford College)

It looks so heritage doesn't it?
It was actually a famous person's mansion.
I don't remember exactly who.

I can't believe that I finish college so long
ago. I do miss it despite of
the looooooong, dull, colorless lectures.
Overall college life was a blast.

Anyway, so off I went to the HQ
together with Chee Yuan.
When we reached, Zet was already there .

For our first day,
we excitedly went up to the seminar room
for the first aid lecture.
Less than 30 minutes later,
the people in the class is either reading
something else, on the phone or...

(Zet)

(Chee Yuan)

Need I say more?

Later that evening, it was practical time.
Means it is time for FUN !
First, CPR learning.
This is the dummy for our practice.
There was 2 other dummies for the CPR,
a little girl and a baby.

(CPR dummy)

Compress 30 times and 2 blows.
By the time when I was done,
I can hardly feel my arms.

Next, the choking section.
Everyone, this is Choking Charlie,
or was it Choking Carter or was it Choking Coby.
I'm not sure but it is definitely Choking-C.

(Choking-C)

Choking was way better than the CPR,
you just need to give it a thrust
from the back and you are done.

Then the lecturer suddenly says that the
test for CPR and Choking was on that
very moment.

I was like WHAT ?!?
Anyhow, 3 of us pass !!
Hahahahahahahahahaha...

End of day 1.

FAIR DISAPPOINTMENT

I have been anticipating for SAW V
so be release for months, and finally I watched it.

Shockingly,
what a HUGE SETBACK it had
given me.

It ain't gory enough compared to
it's previous movies. Far from satisfying my
blood thirst. Not even just to fill a
15 ml measuring cylinder.

(Measuring Cylinder - SAW V)

I think the most acceptable
'horrifying' part would be this..

I think the movie is more to the explanation
of SAW 1-4 rather than
having new elements to make it the
SAW V.

Disappointed.
