Sorry for the late vlog'ing..

Anyhow, it was earth/world day yesterday,
so I made a vlog about it..

IMU ORIENTATION (PART II - DRESS CODE & SIGNATURE HUNT)

I'm suppose to post this like 4 weeks ago,

but the video uploading process is just toooooooooo long.

Sigh..

I'll start of with my group's Dress Code I presentation.

We are suppose to act out Star Wars and add in the song Lollipop by Mika.

??

Star Wars and Lollipop just don't add up.

So, we were brain-storming pretty hard..



and at the end of the day, we came up with this.

You may think it's lame not such a good idea but it turns up pretty well.


I played the role of Darth Vader.

Then, our signature hunt.

For Kor Woi's signature,
we need to find out 10 things about him and do this..


For Jeremy's signature, we need to
line up in front of the main entrance and greet people

"Welcome to IMU"
if the come in and

"Thank you for coming to IMU"
if they are leaving.

For JA's signature, we need to do this..



While for Benedict's signature, we need to do this..

In case you are wondering, we did this at the IMU atrium.

Everyone was looking at us from upstairs.

Yea, I know, I know~~
Embarrassing.
Oh well, at least it's over.

5 minutes ago !!

WET LAB

We had our first wet lab yesterday.


Overall it wasn't half bad i guess..we get to see our
Red Blood Cells.

The lecturer was damn funny though.

Before we start our experiment, the lecturer explain to us
about the equipments in the lab.

For example,

we must throw our 'shark' materials into the 'shark' bin,
(sharp)

we must wear gloves if we have an open 'boound'
(wound)

and we must know our lab safety 'loo'.
(rule)

??

I guess we need to know how to safely do our business in the loo,
just in case we don't know how to use the toilet bowl.

Anyway, first we need to swab some alcohol onto our finger.


Then prick our finger using lancet.


Both KW and I volunteered to donate our blood.


After that, we need to squeeze drops of blood out and
smear it onto the slides.


Ta-da !


Then we add solutions onto slide A, B and C.

Our aim is to find out which solution is hypertonic,
isotonic and hypotonic.

This below is my original RBC without any solutions on it.



Looks a bit like twisties doesn't it?

Next, solution A.


See those black lumps on my RBC?
It means that my cells undergo creanation.

One of my friend said that my creanated cells looks like
they got a cancerous terminal disease.

WTH??

Anyhow, moving onto slide B.


Nothing seems wrong with this, so we think
this is the isotonic solution.

On slide C, we didn't get to spot any cells anywhere.
Thus we think that its haemolysised.

We were so excited about our mini lab group
until that Keen Wai named us the "Sick 6".

When we finished our experiment, it's time to leave..
but before that, wash your hands.

Erm...I think Jeffrey here is too excited to grab wash his hands.

IMU ORIENTATION (PART II - TRACK TRIP)

I'm so sorry I took so long to blog this, the amount of photos

was just towering.

Alright, here we are at the atrium waiting for the others
who are currently "on the way".

Li Xing, Brian and Joyce can't join us because they have dentistry
classes on. Maybe next time then.

15 minutes later, we were still waiting in the atrium.

When everyone finally arrived, it's time to go.

First, we walk to the LRT station located behind IMU.



Before this, I have utterly no idea that the LRT was
just located behind IMU.

Anyway, thank god Felix was there,
because I have no clue how to get to Mid Valley at all.

Purchasing LRT tickets.

There are only around 10 of us.

After we reach "somewhere", we got into the KTM to get to
Mid Valley.

We reached around 10 minutes later.

First, we got to head off for lunch. Starving~

After lunch, we went to MPH to look for the best selling book.

Next on the list is Big Apple.
On the way, we spotted a Hello Kitty thing.
Therefore, we took a picture with it.

While we were busy taking photos with the cat,
Kelvin and Felix went to Baskin Robbins.


Then off to Big Apple.

Our OO's meet up with us there.


After that, we went hunting for "Dragon-i", which I have no idea
what is that.

So, we walk here and there to take pictures.


Then, we spotted this...


Therefore, we

and then there's the dustbin...


After that, we passed by BOSS.

We are suppose to look like we are on cloud 9.


then it was Ben's turn...


Here, I'm suppose to look like I'm really good in playing the piano.
Right~


Turns out that Dragon-i is actually a restaurant...


So, continuing on our task...Red Box.


It looks like were were fighting for the mic,
but actually we were duet'ing.

Our last task is to FREEZE.

We don't think its nice enough, so we decided to
pose and take a better picture.

When we completed our tasks, we went to Burger King
to grab another bite because our OO's
have not eaten yet.

After our snack, we decide to head back to IMU.

Not by that..by KTM and LRT.

The KTM took a while to reach, so....

..hehe...

When the KTM finally came, we climb on board and then
on to the LRT.

We reached IMU around 4 p.m.

We were dead on tired but too bad that we got Dress Code II
later on that same night.

We need to prepare for it..so...huhu~

Our track trip to Mid Valley was great though. =)
